How we met

Bri and Andrew's story is straight out of a fairy tale. Girl adds cute boy from class on Facebook. Boy accepts request, doesn’t read between the lines and doesn’t meet the girl for years.

But he eventually got it together. A courtship that included LARPing, Rob Zombie, and a drag show. 

Chicago

After just 14 months, the lovebirds graduated and flew off to Chicago. Over the course of eight years they had two beautiful boys (their cats Monty and Puddin'), started their careers, soaked in city living, made amazing friends and, most importantly, learned and grew together. 

Getting engaged

They lived in sin for 7 years before Andrew popped the question. He got down on one knee near the falls at Letchworth State Park, looked at the love of his life and forgot every word he thought he’d say. When he finally muttered the question, he realized he wasn’t the only one who forgot how to use words, but Bri did respond with a resounding, "... Yeah." 

Enough delays! The couple started planning their big day immediately...

Buffalo

Then they put it on pause to move to Buffalo to be closer to family and friends. Now, three years into their engagement and more than a decade together, they're officially ready to tie the knot!
